Thirsty Thursday

Thirsty Thursday.. a typical thursday entails many drunken college kids acting like maniacs because thats what they do. Not me though, I'm tired and tend to not get too involved in that craziness. I would rather knit and watch tv. Yeah, exciting life I lead, I know.. I'm okay with it though.

So I am on my second sleeve of my sweater and working fruiously to finish it. I want to finish my sweater this weekend. I realllyyyyy want to finish it this weekend. There are so many projects I want to start after this one is complete.

South Park is on so I'm going to watch that and knit. Or continue to surf knitting blogs and webpages.

Sittin' around.

I think this weekend I'll take some pictures of the progress of my sweater and post them on here. I really want to knit but I'm holding off because I'm trying to force myself to do some Organic Chemistry problems. I just did a little.. I don't know if I exactly understand it but I worked on it for a short.. short while. I really just want to finish this sleeve but once I'm done with this one I can't start on the other one because i dont' think I have a size 8 needle. Oh shoot, maybe I do, hold on. Damn it, I have size 8 double pointeds. Not really gonna work I don't think unless I put little cap things on the ends.. Hmm. I suppose I could just wait until I go home on Friday but I don't have any exams this week, I wanna knit!!

There are so many things I want to knit right now. I want to start my first pair of socks, that will be my project after my sweater. I'll probably actually start socks this weekend, we'll see how much time I have. I know I won't have a lot of time who am I kidding. I also want to make another sweater, a gecko scarf. Oh my goodness I have so much knitting to do and so little time!! I need to get going! I want to make thrumed mittens as well!!!

Back to "chemistry" or something..

Procrastinating

I really need to be doing research for Chelsea's and my Animal Welfare paper.. 25 pages of good old fun. I was doing some work on it before but then my computer freaked out and froze for a good 10-15 minutes forcing me to restart and closing my precious webpages. Now I have to find the webpages, I have some bookmarked but I know I had others open and I can't remember what they were. Very frustratinggg!! Oh well, I just have to go back and start again, I was typing an outline about Veterinary Care/Concerns for the dogs in the race. Just basic bullets of things we should mention in the paper. Since we only have about a month and a week to do this paper I really need to get some solid outlines and information. Twenty-five pages is pretty hardcore. I've never written anything that long in my life.

I really wish I were knitting right now. My sweater NEEDS to be finished, this is much more important then a silly research paper. GOSH.

Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool Festival was very fun and I had a fantastic day with my mom at the fair. They had tons of sheep, TONS of farms/people selling their yarn/fiber/goods, it was soo cool!!

Hopefully my mum will send me some of the photos we took and I can put a few on here.

Lazy Friday

Tonight is my lazy Friday night. I plan on doing nothing but laying in bed, watching tv/movies, knitting, and going to bed early. I really need to get going on my sweater, it's very cold out, its sweater wearing season!!! Tomorrow my mom is picking me up early and we are going to the Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool Festival, I'm glad because I need to get away from UMASS for a while and take a breather. I had a very stressful and exhaustive week I need to be away from the dorms, away from school work, etc. Rest is in order. :)

I watched the movie Eulogy and then The Terminal this afternoon. They were both good, I enjoyed them very much and I loved just laying in bed and watching movies.

The new Regina Spektor song is quite good, I'm not sure what its called though.. oh "fidelity".. the video is on MTV U.

When I was on my way to the dining hall I was hoping they would have mashed potatoes and they did. It was amazing.. they were the ones w/ the skins on too. I shoudl have gotten more. I shoudl have brought some back to my room. MMMM I love mashed potatoes!!!! Best comfort food around.

New Blog!!

My new blog! My mum is making a blog, she has been working on it long and hard so I figured I would take the easy route and make a simple one. :) I would love to post pictures and stuff on here eventually. I probably will once I learn how to do all of this stuff. Maybe I will post some of my Europe trip on here from summer 2005 just to get the hang of it. I don't have a digital camera at school but I'll figure something out. I'm going to try to force myself to regularly update this. I tend to let things go and forget about them. Blogs are so neat though so hopefully I will keep this thing up!
